Mike Melton

BACKGROUND

I was raised on a western Nebraska cattle ranch and have had a diverse career in business management.  General Management (improvement) of metal and plastic production factories has been my primary focus.  I have specific expertise in textiles, healthcare, metal fabrication, automation, failure analysis, quality systems, improvement, and change management.

I’m currently the General Manager of HeyTex USA.  My core competency is capturing top management goals with measures of success and educating top managers how to institutionalize improvement.  I live and breathe C3 as a business leader and a teacher.  I constantly think what the product is and who is the customer?  I apply C3 principles with a mind-set of the customers for which I produce things.  C3 principles help me front load planning to develop systems that customer’s want.

I’m a pilot, a bicyclist and enjoy spending the weekends at our cottage in the Blue Ridge Mountains with Ann and our two German Shepards.  I’m a certified Angel Flight Pilot and a Pilots N Paws volunteer.

Lisa Powell

BACKGROUND

I have over 25 years of experience in Human Resources in both the public and private sectors.  Currently, I am the HR Director for Linn County where I have been for 10 years.  In this position, I oversee labor relations and contract negotiations, benefits, training, recruitment and employee development at the county.
